What’s New At Counseling Alliance?
Exciting things are happening at Counseling Alliance. Here’s a short list.
Our traditional out-patient counseling services continues to grow. We treat a wide variety of personal, relational, and family issues.
Our JUMPSTART TO HEALING® programs continue to grow. What began as 1 and 2 day Intensive Out-Patient programs is now being offered in multi-day formats (4 & 5 day options). These multi-day programs are individually designed to address:
Problematic sexual behaviors such as compulsive porn use, out of control sexual behaviors, infidelity, and other sexually related issues.
Partners of those with problematic sexual behaviors need support too. The all-too-common approach that “This is his/her problem” doesn’t take into account the impact of the behavior on the partner. Our therapists have advanced training to address the unique issues faced by partners.
Relationship Counseling. Our therapist have advanced training in relationship counseling with national level experts such as John Gottman and Stan Tatkin. Relationships are difficult. We can help.
Trauma comes in many forms. With training in areas such as EMDR, Developmental and Relational Trauma (DART), many forms of trauma and abuse can be treated effectively. You may not have had of choice of the things that have happened on your life. You do have the option of whether or not to seek treatment.

Groups and Workshops addressing multiple topics are an ongoing part of Counseling Alliance’s services. Groups are powerful and healing and not nearly as threatening as many assume. Click here to learn more or call (513) 376-9757.
We are making Alliances to extend our services. In keeping with the philosophy of our name Counseling Alliance, we are pleased to announce more formal connections with other therapists and counseling centers.

Shame, fear and relationship stress are three of the most common effects of trauma. Whether you have experienced trauma from childhood abuse, domestic abuse, combat, infidelity or from your calling as a first responder or mental health professional, healing is possible. If you are stuck, overwhelmed or hopeless, I would be honored to sit with you, hear your story and help you find or restore joy and peace in your life.
I am one of two Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSAT candidate) trained by the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) in the Dayton area. This means I have specialized training in treating porn, sex and love addiction and the pain of partner betrayal trauma that often accompanies it.
In addition to my specialized training in the treatment of sex addiction, I also have advanced trauma therapy training in EMDR, Brainspotting and Pia Mellody's Post-Induction Therapy, a model for treating childhood trauma and neglect.
In addition to Charles, therapists from our Counseling Alliance office are seeing clients in the Heartwood Counseling office in Beavercreek, OH. Group counseling options will be available very soon.
